Recently, my sister Daphne has encouraged me into drawing food. I had not really thought alot about drawing food but find that I really enjoy it. For one of my drawings for the DaphXine Art Challenge I decided to draw churros and chocolate. This was also one of the delicious treats that my son talked about when he speaks of his time in Spain.

I’ve been very busy recently and I haven’t been able to sit and draw as much or paint. I’ve only had time for a quick sketch here and there – or I feel like I only have time for a sketch or two.

I really had fun drawing the cute little churros and I began to practice expressions alone afterwards. I will continue to practice expressions in my sketching journal so I can do more cute food illustrations eventually.
