Summertime, summertime, sum-sum-summertime! What I think of when I think of summer is boating season, although the scene I shot just yesterday – July 4th – is not the type of boating scene I enjoy. Too many boats and people! Especially since we are in the midst of this pandemic still.

No, no – this summer sunset on the water- hanging out with some poles in the water, alone and enjoying the setting sun- that’s more my speed.

As we explore around on the lake, seeing the boat houses open is a definite sign of summer in our area.

Signs of summer include seeing the kayakers and paddle boarders out and about in the ocean or the lake.

Then of course, the quintessential summer lobster boil with corn and potatoes – yum! Don’t forget some steamers too!

Blue skies and open water is what summer is all about for us.

This has been my post for the Lens-Artist Photo Challenge #104 – Summer.
A very beautiful set of photos for this summer theme! The first image does look crowded.
The sunset scene is stunning. The image of the Newfound Lake is much like a beautiful painting. Thank you for sharing the blue skies and open water of summer. 🙂
